A few days ago, Ford Motor Company Q1 award flagging ceremony was held in Schaeffler Taicang new manufacturing base.
Schaeffler Taicang Plant 1 passed the certification through layers of rigorous audits, which indicates that Taicang Plant 1 has reached the highest standards of Ford in key areas such as product quality, operational delivery, service capability and continuous improvement.
In 2018, Schaeffler Taicang Plant 1, located on Chaoyang Road in Taicang City, received Ford Q1 certification for the first time.
In 2021, in order to meet the needs of business development, Taicang Plant 1 began a gradual relocation to the new Taicang manufacturing site on Beijing Road in Taicang City.
Since the plant was relocated and put into operation, the parts supplied to Ford have maintained a “zero” PPM (Parts Per Million) level, which is highly recognised by the customer and has laid the foundation for another Q1 certification.
