In the wave of Industry 4.0, the precision and efficiency of machine tools have become the key to competition.
Timken®spindle precision angular contact ball bearings
Ideal for efficient, precision machining
In order to increase industrial productivity, machine tools need to run at high speeds.
Timken’s spindle precision angular contact ball bearings are available in four metric ISO size series and in two designs, the WI standard series and the HX high-speed series, both of which can be equipped with ceramic balls, demonstrating their broad applicability.
These bearings are capable of maintaining extremely high accuracy at high rotational speeds and meet the diverse machining needs of small parts to large structures.
The four metric ISO size series mainly include ISO 19 (9300WI, 9300HX), ISO 10 (9100WI, 9100HX), ISO 02 (200WI) and ISO 03 (300WI).
Timken spindle precision angular contact ball bearings are characterised by a wide range of size series, professional bearing design, high speed seal design and strict accuracy control.
Nowadays, Timken precision angular contact ball bearings are widely used in a variety of precision machining equipment in many industries, such as high-speed grinding heads, high-speed internal grinding spindles, high-speed special milling machine spindles and precision coordinate boring machine spindles.
Timken®Precision Tapered Roller Bearings
The little guy who can carry complex loads
Timken’s precision tapered roller bearings are uniquely designed to provide superior solutions for low-speed, heavy-duty or low-speed, high-stiffness applications in machine tools.
Their tapered raceways can effectively withstand combined radial and axial loads.
Thanks to the pure rolling and linear contact of the rollers, Timken’s precision tapered roller bearings reduce heat generation and improve spindle stiffness and running accuracy for superior performance.
In order to meet customers’ needs for higher precision, Timken offers four grades of precision tapered roller bearings, which are manufactured under stringent quality control, with Grade AA (metric) and Grade 000 (inch) tapered roller bearings capable of exceeding the requirements of ISO Class P2.
The four different accuracy classes correspond to different applications from ‘normal’ to ‘ultra-precision’.
Timken®Crossed Tapered Roller Bearings (TXR)
The Power of Innovative Design
In recent years, the rapid development of China’s wind power industry has driven many equipment manufacturers to adopt vertical lathes for the production of large bearings and rotary assemblies.
Among these, TXR bearings are ideal for table supports on vertical lathes.
The right-angle combination design of the two sets of raceways and tapered rollers of TXR bearings ensures perfect interlacing between the rolling elements: the cross-section height of the bearings is similar to that of single-row bearings, thus saving space and housing material; the large taper angle and tapered geometry make the overall effective span of the bearings several times the width of the bearings themselves.
With their compact structural design, high load carrying capacity, adjustable preload, high speeds with low heat generation, strict precision control, and excellent lubrication and noise reduction properties, TXR bearings have demonstrated significant performance advantages in high-end fields such as machine tools, robotics and aerospace.
Since entering China in 1992, Timken has been rooted in the local community and has been providing safe and reliable solutions for customers in various fields.
Behind this is not only Timken’s 100 years of experience, but also Timken’s staff’s commitment to quality, as well as adherence to the core corporate values of integrity, quality, collaboration and excellence, which have injected a lasting innovative impetus and cohesive force into the development of Timken’s business in China.
