NSK Wins Two Honours at the First Meeting of Chinese New Year
On 11th January, 2025 Kunshan New Industrialisation Promotion Conference was held. Chen Liyan, Secretary of Kunshan Municipal Party Committee, Fan Jianqing, Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Kunshan, and other key leaders of the city’s four sets of teams, as well as representatives of various enterprises and other participants attended the meeting. Yu Guoping, executive officer of NIPPON SEIKO CORPORATION and president of NSK China, and Kong Xuefen, director of Planning and Governance Department of NSK Investment Ltd. were invited to participate in the meeting.
On the spot, NSK Investment Co., Ltd. (NSK China headquarters) was awarded the honorary titles of ‘Top Ten Headquarters Economy Enterprises’ and ‘Top Ten Harmonious Enterprises in Labour Relations’.
At the meeting, President Yu Guoping was invited to make an exchange speech around the headquarters economy.
President Yu mentioned that the development of NSK China to its current scale is undoubtedly the result of the headquarters economy effect and investment acceleration and efficiency. In the future, NSK China will focus more on emerging and future industries, accelerate the development of new technologies and products in the fields of low-altitude economy, humanoid robots, artificial intelligence, electrification and intelligence, and unmanned vehicles, etc., and further carry out ‘China-style innovation’ to strengthen the strategic policy of ‘in China for China’. We will further carry out ‘China-style innovation’, strengthen the strategic policy of ‘in China for China’, and develop technologies and products that meet the needs of Chinese customers with Chinese speed, method and cost, so as to innovate for the future. At the same time, President Yu called on Kunshan’s headquartered enterprises to innovate their development models and globalise their operations, so that Kunshan’s headquartered enterprises will be better able to ‘base themselves in Kunshan and go global’.
