(NSK China, hereinafter referred to as NSK China) has officially passed the latest upgraded version (v6.0.3) of TISAX AL3 accreditation, becoming the first legal entity in NSK China to be awarded this version of accreditation. The certification label is effective from 17th February 2025 and the final certification report will be published in mid-February 2025 by the officially authorised certification body Bureau Veritas Certification (Beijing) Co. This certification signifies that NSK China has achieved the highest standards and authoritative recognition from the European automotive industry for the protection of critical information assets (including IT and OT information assets), the protection of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of prototypes, as well as business continuity (BCP).
TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) is a key security standard for information security assessment and data exchange in the automotive industry, which is jointly launched by the Federation of the German Automotive Industry (VDA) and the European Association for Secure Data Exchange in the Automotive Industry (ENX), based on the ISO/IEC 27001 information security management system standard and the VDA-ISA information security assessment checklist. TISAX is established based on ISO/IEC 27001 information security management system standard and VDA-ISA information security evaluation checklist, and at the same time, it provides mutual recognition mode of information security evaluation results for different service providers in the automotive industry. At present, it has become a common information security assessment and data exchange mutual trust mechanism for many European automobile enterprises such as Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Renault, PSA, Porsche, etc., as well as domestic automobile enterprises such as FAW and BYD. Passing the TISAX assessment and certification represents that the supplier’s information security assurance capability has been recognised by all automotive industry participants and does not need to be recertified within three years.
