(hereinafter referred to as YASKAWA Robotics) held a supplier policy briefing for the last period of 2024 on 15th March. At the meeting, NSK Investment Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as NSK) was awarded the “Excellent Supplier” for the next period of 2023 among nearly 100 suppliers, and Advisor Hiroshi Yoneyama of the Precision Machinery Marketing Department of NSK China’s Industrial Machinery Business Division received the award on behalf of the company.

YASKAWA Robotics, as one of the world’s top four industrial robots, has a history of more than 100 years since its parent company, YASKAWA ELECTRIC CORPORATION, was founded in 1915, and its fields of development include drive control, motion control, system control, and robotics. Yaskawa Robotics, as a wholly-owned subsidiary invested in China, mainly focuses on the production and sales of industrial robots (including vertical multi-joint industrial robots, welding robots, and control systems) and their automation equipment systems. Since the start of production in 2013, it has shipped a total of 100,000 units for a wide range of applications, including automotive, electronics, food, pharmaceutical, machinery, new energy and photovoltaic industries, and is mainly used in automated production lines for handling, assembly, welding, painting, packaging and other operations.

NSK has been cooperating with Yaskawa Robotics for nearly ten years, supplying thin-walled bearings for various robot joints and wrist precision bearings, and maintaining excellent JIT (Just In Time) and zero defect rates, which have been highly evaluated by customers. 2023, NSK’s precision machine products have also been successfully entered into Yaskawa Robotics direct-acting product demand projects. The award of “Excellent Supplier” is a recognition of NSK’s excellence in supply and quality.
In the future, NSK’s Industrial Bearing Division and Precision Machinery Division will work together to promote and consolidate further cooperation with Yaskawa Robotics, and to become an excellent supplier to Yaskawa Robotics.
