SINOMACH undertook the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Science and Technology Major Special Project “Intelligent Grass Harvesting Key Equipment Development” through the comprehensive performance evaluation. The implementation of this project has realised the operation automation and intelligence of key equipment for grass harvesting, and its promotion and application will boost the development of grass harvesting equipment industry.

Ltd. is responsible for the project, broke through a number of core technologies, and developed four sets of equipment, including high-efficiency wide traction reciprocating mower, double rotor horizontal rotary raking and turning machine, intelligent high-density round bale reeling machine, and automatic round bale picking and transporting vehicle. The four sets of equipment have passed field tests and third-party tests, and have been promoted and demonstrated in many pastures with good results.
High-end Intelligent Tractor Multifunctional Handrail Developed Successfully

The high-end intelligent tractor multifunctional handrail independently developed by SINOMACH completed the performance and reliability verification for more than a month in Heilongjiang Province, and all the indexes met the requirements, realising the localisation of the multifunctional handrail for Dongfanghong tractor.

Multi-function armrest is a standard component of high-end intelligent tractor, China YTO Group Co., Ltd, a subordinate enterprise of the group, researches multi-function armrest from all aspects, highly integrates the operation buttons of tractor operation, and sends the button signals to the tractor’s Engine Controller (ECU), Driveline Controller (TCU), and Vehicle Controller (VCU) through the bus mode, integrating 40 switching channels and more than 10 analogue channels, saving the hardware resources of each controller of the tractor, and improving the stability of the button. It integrates more than 40 channels of switches and more than 10 channels of analogue, which saves the hardware resources of each controller of the tractor, improves the stability of the keys, and enhances the driving comfort of the tractor.

Successful development of non-destructive testing instruments for aero-engine bearings

Two non-destructive testing instruments for aero-engine bearings developed by SINOMACH have successfully completed installation and commissioning, and their technical indexes, functions and testing efficiency have all met the requirements, realising the localised replacement of the testing instruments.

Bearing testing and maintenance in aviation engines is a necessary step to support the safe and reliable operation of aviation vehicles. The non-destructive testing instrument for aero-engine bearings developed by Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd, a subsidiary company of the Group, provides a bearing electrical signal testing method, which can provide an effective and reliable means for users to detect the defects of non-dismantleable bearings by real-time measurement of the change of the resistance value of the oil film between the inner and outer rings of the bearings when they are rotating, and then carry out data collection, comparison and calculation, etc., which will provide a quantitative measurement value.

High-end manufacturing field
National Key R&D Programme projects led by SINOMACH passed the comprehensive performance evaluation.

The national key R&D programme project “Mechanical Seal Service Performance Evolution Mechanism and Reliability Assessment Method” led by SINOMACH passed the comprehensive performance evaluation. The results of the project have solved the shortcomings and deficiencies of mechanical seals for major equipment in China’s process industry, and promoted the advancement of China’s high-end mechanical seal design, manufacturing and service performance control theory and technology.

(hereinafter referred to as “Hefei General Machinery Research Institute”), led by the group’s subordinate enterprises, jointly with other units to complete, for energy, chemical industry, marine engineering, aerospace and other important areas of high-pressure, multi-media complex conditions in the design of high-end mechanical seals, as well as manufacturing and use of the key issues faced in the digital mechanical seals. SINOMACH undertook two key R&D projects of Anhui Province, namely, “Non-contact Acoustic Resonance Detection Technology and System for Linear and Non-linear Damage of Pressure-Bearing Equipment” and “Research on Key Technology and Equipment for Turbine Cooling System of New Combined Cycle Gas and Steam Generating Units”, and passed the acceptance. The project of “non-contact acoustic resonance detection technology and system for linear and non-linear damage of pressurised equipment” tackles the detection technology of linear electromagnetic acoustic resonance for macroscopic damage at high temperature, designs high-temperature electromagnetic acoustic resonance transducer of poly-magnetic type, proposes non-linear electromagnetic acoustic resonance detection method for plastic deformation damage, and develops non-contact linear – non-linear composite acoustic resonance detection technology. Non-linear composite acoustic resonance detection system, for high temperature, coupling difficult scenarios under pressure equipment to provide an important solution for long-term safe operation.

The project is the first successful application of the new combustion turbine turbine cooling system, which is successfully applied in the gas steam combined cycle power generation unit in China, providing important technical support for the formation of the turbine cooling system and equipment with independent intellectual property rights in China, and strongly promoting the technical progress of the turbine cooling system and equipment in the field of gas steam combined cycle power generation in China.
