Straight to the Fair|SKF builds a “Win-Win Bridge” to create a better future

This year, SKF once again met with old and new friends at the Fair, and signed cooperation agreements with a number of local head enterprises in the fields of petrochemical, electric power, metallurgy, coal, and mining industries, aiming to deeply explore the new direction of green and intelligent development, to shape a new advantage of the industry's high-quality development, and to inject new kinetic energy for the realisation of the industry's sustainable development.

On 5th November, the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE), with the theme of “New Era, Shared Future”, opened in Shanghai. Every year, the Fair is a window of communication between SKF and its Chinese customers and partners, creating unlimited opportunities for both sides to further deepen cooperation and create a better future together.

This year, SKF once again met with old and new friends at the Fair, and signed cooperation agreements with a number of local head enterprises in the fields of petrochemical, electric power, metallurgy, coal, and mining industries, aiming to deeply explore the new direction of green and intelligent development, to shape a new advantage of the industry’s high-quality development, and to inject new kinetic energy for the realisation of the industry’s sustainable development.

Heavyweight signing to build a new paradigm of synergistic development

On November 4, SKF and China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation signed a framework procurement agreement for imported bearings, continuing to empower digital solutions, supply chain optimisation, green and low-carbon areas of collaboration to help the transformation and upgrading of the petrochemical industry. In addition, this cooperation has solidified the position of SKF brand in the oil and gas industry, through the head of the enterprise radiation and drive small and medium-sized enterprises.

Exchange and Integration, Cohesion and Effort for the Future

During the exhibition, SKF set up the “Win-Win Bridge” to establish strategic partnerships with many headline enterprise customers, exploring industry challenges and new opportunities in the field of intelligence and cleanliness. At the same time, SKF took this opportunity to leverage its own digital and innovation advantages, and conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges with industry partners on promoting the intelligent, high-end and green transformation of industrial industries.

On 5 November, at the launch of the imported goods zone of Obey Mall under Baowu Group, Teng Zhengji, Vice President of SKF China, was invited as a guest to attend and speak. “SKF metallurgical team and the whole value chain of various departments to co-operate, with high efficiency to ensure supply, technology empowerment, clean and intelligent as the main hand, based on the headquarters plus satellite station of the three-dimensional service, fully with the Baowu demand side of the full integration and co-creation. SKF’s Carbon Neutral and SKF RecondOil® oil cycle purification technologies bring more opportunities for our partnership, and will lead to a new and broader future.”

On the same day, at the signing ceremony of the National Energy Group, Zhou Jie, Vice President of SKF China, spoke on the stage as a representative of outstanding suppliers. “SKF injects new kinetic energy for sustainable development through continuous promotion of scientific and technological innovation, helps customers improve rotating equipment performance and reduce environmental footprints, and contributes to the sustainable development of society while creating customer value. SKF is taking a more open and pragmatic approach to collaborate with partners from upstream and downstream parties in the industry chain to create a zero-carbon ecology covering the entire life cycle of bearing products.”

As a supporting on-site activity of the Fair, the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Intelligent Mobility Forum and the Award Ceremony of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization’s Global Programme Call were held on 6 November.

SKF China Vice President Zhao Qingtao attended on behalf of the launch of the second phase of the “Fourth Industrial Revolution Industry Alliance”. SKF China officially became a member of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization’s Fourth Industrial Revolution Industry Alliance, focusing on digital and green transformation, and will meet the wave of the fourth industrial revolution together with many emerging industries and industrial frontier sectors.

During the period of the Expo, Zhao Qingtao was also invited to participate in the Global Digital Industry Summit Matchmaking Meeting hosted by the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, the Reception of Heads of Multinational Corporations by the People’s Government of Shandong Province, and the Enterprise Exchange Activity of the People’s Government of Jinan, where he exchanged views with the relevant governmental leaders on the proposal and development of SKF in the local area.

At the Fifth Foreign Invested Enterprises Administrative Protection of Intellectual Property Exchange Conference on 7 November, SKF’s product authentication display booth attracted a lot of attention.
