The first set of domestic 920-bore large-scale marine crankshaft forgings delivered

On May 12, the delivery ceremony of China’s first large-scale marine crankshaft forging with a bore of 920 cylinders was held. Shanghai Electric Group’s Shanghai Heavy Casting and Forging Co., Ltd. obtained the WinGD patent certification for two-stroke engine crankshaft forgings with a bore of 96cm and below. Shanghai Marine Crankshaft Co., Ltd. delivered the first set of domestic X92 large-scale marine low-speed engine crankshaft forgings.

Sheng Jigang, member of the party group of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, deputy general manager, and Jin Xiaolong, member of the party committee and vice president of Shanghai Electric Group, attended the ceremony and had talks and exchanges. The domestic large-scale marine low-speed engine crankshaft forging obtained patent certification and the delivery of the first set of forgings is a symbolic achievement of China State Shipbuilding Corporation and Shanghai Electric Group to realize the power of shipbuilding, and it is a symbol of China State Shipbuilding Corporation and Shanghai Electric Group giving full play to their advantages in industry, technology and resources.
