On August 2, the first ring of pipe pieces of Beijing-Binhai Railway of China Railway 14th Bureau Fangqiao Company started to pour, marking that the prefabrication factory of high-speed railway shield pipe pieces with the largest scale and the highest level of intelligence was formally put into production in Tianjin, and breakthroughs were made in intelligent manufacturing technology of domestic large-diameter shield pipe pieces and the construction of Beijing-Binhai Railway pressed acceleration button.
The tube sheet is the main assembly component of the shield tunnel, which is like a strong “golden bell”, creating a protective barrier for the tunnel, bearing the role of resisting soil pressure, groundwater pressure and some special loads. As the permanent lining structure of the tunnel, the tube pieces are sealed together and interlocked to provide a safe space for the fast-moving trains.
Located in Dongli District, Tianjin City, covering an area of about 245 acres, the pipe sheet yard undertakes the prefabrication and production of 5325 rings of pipe sheets and 5325 pieces of box culverts for the No.1 and No.2 tunnels of Tianjin Airport of Jingbin Railway, and 3007 rings of pipe sheets and 3007 pieces of box culverts for the tunnel of Tianjin-Gu Haihe River of Jinwei Railway. The company has developed and designed two leading green intelligent pipe sheet production lines, with a maximum monthly capacity of 550 rings, which can simultaneously meet the needs of four large shield tunneling machines.

Among them, “automatic inspection equipment for steel cage” and “robot linkage system” are the first time developed and applied in China, realising digital management, fingertip production and visual supervision of high-speed railway shield tube sheet production.
The “Robot Linkage System” changes the robots’ individual operation and control on the production line, and realises the remote operation of cleaning, spraying, smearing and transporting robots in the control room, which makes the work processes more closely connected and the production more fluent and efficient. The nation’s first automatic inspection equipment for reinforcing steel cage realises full-size and full-point inspection, completely eliminating the disadvantages of omission and error brought by manual sampling, and ensuring 100% qualification rate of reinforcing steel cage.
As a national green factory, to create a “green site”, through intensive construction layout, saving 48% of the land; add a new type of insulation layer to improve the maintenance process, carbon emissions are zero, the base of the green area of more than 30% for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Railway construction has added a touch of green.
